Course Overview

Renowned architect Greg Martin designed this spectacular 18-hole championship course. The par 71, links-style course offers 6,828 yards of challenges, as well as satisfaction. It features two distinct "nines:" The front nine holes play through the lower area of the property, winding their way through wetlands and water. The back nine holes play along a ridge, offering a variety of elevations and striking views of the surrounding countryside.

  • Hole #1

    Hole #1

An ideal starting hole to your round, hole #1 is a short and straight par 4 that usually has a wedge shot left into the green. Favor the left center of the fairway as it gives you the best approach shot into this green. Avoid the bunker down the right-hand side as it requires a difficult approach into a narrow and well protected green. Pro Tip:Tee Shots down the left edge of the fairway will typically recieve generous bounces back towards the center of the fairway leaving a great angle into the green.
  • Hole #2

    Hole #2

A par 5, with a slight dog-leg right is best played as a 3 shot hole but remains reachable for the longer hitters. The green is well protected by a front right bunker and is difficult to hold when going for it in two due to a back half sloping away towards the water. Favor the left-hand side avoiding the water that is easily reachable on your layup for the best angle into this tricky green. Pro Tip: Favor a fade off the tee to avoid the out-of-bounds up the left side. Even a strong fade with enough carry will be just fine, as there is plenty of room out to the right.
  • Hole #3

    Hole #3

A long straight par 4 with trouble down both sides requiring a precise tee-shot. The further you hit a drive on this hole the tighter the landing zone gets. A good tee-shot will set you up for a long second shot into one of the biggest greens on the course. Favor a left miss into this green as it leaves for an easier up and down. Pro Tip: Dial back off the tee to avoid reaching the water on the right. A spacious landing area left of the green will keep you on track to make your par and move along to the more scoreable holes to come.
  • Hole #4

    Hole #4

A tricky short to mid length par 3 that requires an accurate tee-shot into a well protected severly sloped elevated green. Any shot missing short or right is bound for the water or a very difficult up and down. Pro Tip: You may feel a stiff breeze on this tee box, but as your shot approaches the green, the wall of trees will cause the wind to swirl. Aim to the left center of the green and let your putter do the work.
  • Hole #5

    Hole #5

A shorter par 4 slight dog leg left that offers a risk reward tee-shot. Hitting driver on this hole requires an extremely accurate tee-shot, but the less distance you have into this hole, the easier of a chance you have to hold this narrow well protected green. Pro Tip: Check the pin location. A front pin location will require an agressive tee shot to hold your wedge on the front knob, if the pin is in the middle or back, take your 200-230 yard club off the tee favoring the right side and you will have a low iron in.
  • Hole #6

    Hole #6

This drivable par 4 presents some oppurtunity. This green is accessible, and there is plenty of room out right with enough carry. Avoid the trouble bearing down the left-hand side as well as the 3 bunkers down the right and you will have an easy wedge to the middle of the green. Pro Tip: Bombs away! But be prepared for a testy up and down if the pin is tucked on the right side.
  • Hole #7

    Hole #7

A straight forward par 3 with trouble down the right-hand side. Aim and play to the left center of this green for the easiest chance to make par. Pro Tip: Focus on the middle of the green and make a nice balanced swing.
  • Hole #8

    Hole #8

Don't bite off more than you can chew, as this split-fairway par 4 will chew you up and spit you out. A 250+ carry off the tee crossing the water twice can leave you inside 70 yards for your second shot, but this requires extreme accuracy. The safest play is still a hard pill to swallow as you want to hit your 200-230 yard club off this tee, which will leave you with 150-190 yards in depending on the angle you took off the tee. Pro Tip: Peel a fade off the left fairway bunker, there is more room than you think for the ball to run out down the fairway towards the bridge. You will have a mid-iron in. Fight for par and move along.
  • Hole #9

    Hole #9

This par 5 can play almost 600 yards from the tips and is recommended to be played as a 3 shot hole. Those long enough to go for it in two must hit a very accurate long approach shot into a narrow green sloping towards the water on the right-hand side of the green. Pro Tip: Your layup over the 2nd set of bunkers will run away from you towards the water, take one less club to have a comfortable 3rd shot into this green.
  • Hole #10

    Hole #10

This tee shot begins the ascent into a very different back 9. Beware of any tee shots moving to the right as the slope can kick your ball into the hazard. Take 1 more club for your approach shot into this green as it sits about 10 yards above the landing zone in this fairway. Pro Tip: Favor the left side off the tee. The Bunker up the left is your target, only the biggest hitters can reach it off the tee.
  • Hole #11

    Hole #11

This par 3 features a downhill approach shot into a sloping green. Use the right side of the green correctly and it can play in your favor. Any shot missing left will not be found. Pro Tip: Check the wind before clubbing down off the tee and aim towards the right edge as the ball generally kicks towards the center of the green.
  • Hole #12

    Hole #12

Avoid the towering trees up the right side off this elevated tee shot as this can be a very scorable par 4. Be careful with the club you select off the tee because the water at the bottom of the fairway is closer than you think. Pro Tip: Club up on the approach shot as this green slopes significantly from front to back.
  • Hole #13

    Hole #13

This par 5 bends it's way back up through the towering trees on both sides. Missing left off this tee blocks out any oppurtunity to go for this green in two. Missing to the right leaves you searching for a gap to fire through when going for the green. A tee shot in the fairway at the base of the hill leaves you with about 225 to the front edge of the green. Pro Tip: Play a draw off the trees on the right. If you have the power to get over the hill off the tee, you will have about 175 into this green.
  • Hole #14

    Hole #14

This beast of a par 3 usually plays into the wind requiring a long iron, hybrid, or fairway wood to be hit into this well protected green, with water short and left. Par on this hole definitely gains a stroke on the field. Pro Tip: Club up and make a confident swing!
  • Hole #15

    Hole #15

This straight foward, yet lengthy par 4 back up the hill leaves you with plenty of room off the tee, just swing away and get as far out there as you can. Prepare for a long iron or wood into this green. Par is a great score. Pro Tip: Aim down the right side, tee it high, and let it fly!
  • Hole #16

    Hole #16

Your score on this par 5 is heavily decided off the tee. Stay right of the left fairway bunker and big hitters will be able to go for the heavily gaurded green in two. Catch the fairway bunker and you can find yourself in some trouble. Play this hole smart and you will have a good chance to make par or better! Pro Tip: Aim down the right side on this hole and tee it high and let it fly! Try to get yourself as close to the green as possible on your second shot for a great chance for birdie.
  • Hole #17

    Hole #17

This downhill par 3 often leaves you guessing for the correct club selection. Generally, the wind is whipping as you look down over the water short and wrapping all around the left side to the back of the green. It is important to not get greedy and play to the center of the green, otherwise you can find yourself making bogey or worse real quick. Pro Tip: Trust your club selection, aim at the center of the green, and make a good golf swing!
  • Hole #18

    Hole #18

This par 4 slight dogleg right requires two solid golf shots. Step up make a good swing off the tee into this welcoming fairway, then take your time and focus on the approach shot into a heavily sloped and multi-tiered green that is conveniently surrounded by bunkers and water as well. Par would be a great way to end your round on this hole. Pro Tip: Aim at the telephone pole in the distance. The biggest hitters can gear up and rip a drive over the bunker, these shots will chase down the slope near the front edge of the green.
